Step-by-Step Puppy Purchase Process
Step 1: Review Current & Upcoming Litters, Pricing & Sample Contract
Before submitting an application, we encourage families to review our available puppies page, pricing page, and sample puppy contract. We believe in being transparent from the beginning, and we want every family to fully understand our process, expectations, and policies before moving forward.
Step 2: Submit an Application
Once you have reviewed our information and feel our program is the right fit, the next step is completing our puppy application. Our application helps us learn more about your family, lifestyle, and what you are looking for in your future Mini Schnauzer. This allows us to help guide you toward the puppy that best fits your home.
Step 3: Application Review & Approval
After receiving your application, we will carefully review your information and reach out with the next steps. Our goal is to ensure each puppy is placed in a loving, prepared home where they can thrive.
Step 4: Reservation Deposit
Once approved, families may place a $400 non-refundable deposit to join our waitlist & complete reservation. Your deposit secures your place in line and gives you the opportunity to select from available puppies in the order your deposit was received.
Step 5: Puppy Selection
Families select their puppy in reservation/deposit order. Selection typically takes place around 3–4 weeks of age, when personalities begin to develop and we have a better understanding of each puppy’s temperament. We are happy to help guide families through the selection process to find the puppy that best fits their lifestyle. After puppy selection, we will continue sending weekly picture and video updates of your puppy until homecoming day.
Step 6: Complete Remaining Balance
At 7 weeks of age, your remaining balance is due. Payment must be completed by the stated deadline to keep your reservation secured.
Step 7: Puppy Homecoming
When your puppy is ready to go home, at 8 weeks of age, they will leave our care with their health records, care information, puppy essentials, and the support needed for a smooth transition.
Our relationship does not end when your puppy goes home, we are always here as a resource and support for your family.
