Hello, my name is Destiny and I am the owner here at Barkin’ Beauty Schnauzers. We are a small-scale Miniature Schnauzer breeding program built on passion, purpose, and a deep appreciation for both the beauty and brilliance of this incredible breed. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for animals and a desire to work with them in a meaningful way. Over my 31 years of life, I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds—but everything changed when my brother brought home his Schnauzer after retiring from the Air Force. Watching their bond, I quickly fell in love with the breed’s unmatched loyalty, sharp intelligence, and striking appearance. There is truly something special about a Schnauzer—their expressive eyes, signature beard, and confident presence make them as beautiful as they are devoted. When the time came to add another dog to my own family, I didn’t hesitate—I knew I wanted a Schnauzer. That decision led me into a deeper journey of learning, studying, and understanding the breed on every level. The more I experienced, the more I realized what a blessing Schnauzers are, and how strongly I felt about sharing that same love and connection with other families. At Barkin’ Beauty Schnauzers, our name reflects our mission: to highlight and preserve the true beauty of the Miniature Schnauzer—not just in appearance, but in temperament, health, and spirit. We are committed to breeding for quality, not quantity. As a small program, every dog we raise is part of our family. Our puppies and parents are raised in our home, surrounded by everyday life, love, and intentional socialization to help them grow into confident, well-rounded companions. We are also a family-run program. My husband and our two boys are actively involved alongside me, helping care for and raise our dogs. This hands-on, family-centered environment allows our puppies to grow up surrounded by different interactions, attention, and love—preparing them to transition seamlessly into their future homes. Beyond breeding, I bring over 10 years of experience in banking and management, which has shaped my approach to communication, organization, and customer care. I take pride in building genuine relationships with our families and providing a smooth, supportive experience from the first inquiry to long after a puppy goes home. Throughout my life, I’ve also become a trusted resource for others when it comes to their animals. Friends, family, and even acquaintances often reach out to me for advice and guidance—not because I’m a veterinarian, but because they know I have hands-on experience, a deep understanding, and a true passion for animal care. That trust is something I value greatly and carry into everything I do with this program. As a busy mom of two boys, a wife of 11 years (17 years together), and a multiple business owner, I understand how important it is to have a dog that brings joy, companionship, and connection into your home. That’s exactly what we strive to provide. We are dedicated to placing our puppies in homes that will truly value and appreciate the breed—families who will love them deeply, invest in their well-being, and enjoy all the personality and beauty a Schnauzer has to offer. Our goal is not just to raise puppies, but to help create lifelong bonds.
